Our Curriculum
At Alphabet Farms we know children learn by doing. Consequently, our curriculum is chocked full of hands-on (sometimes messy) learning activities. By using a monthly theme, our lesson plans build on basic curriculum areas. For example, April is our “It’s Growing” month, where we hatch duck eggs in our school incubator. Through this activity alone we cover math, science, literacy, writing and more while discovering the miracle of life.
Our educators prioritize deep, enriching, and genuine learning experiences. Fostering cognitive, social, and emotional development while providing a safe and comfortable environment for long term success. People, especially children, enjoy things that are rounded and warm to the touch. Things that are malleable, water activities, messy materials, and cozy furniture can stimulate learning. Most of young children’s learning is sensory-motor based and requires hands-on experiences, our curriculum is solely based on building confidence and academic success!
Alphabet Farms offers a variety of programs for children 13 mos. old through 5 years old. We are open all year round from 7:00am until 6:00pm. We offer a school day program and an extended day program. You may also select as many days as you need, with a minimum of 2 days.
School Day Program: 8:30am - 3:00pm
Extended Day Program: 7:00am - 6:00pm
